Stretching keeps the muscle flexible, strong, and healthy. Without it, the muscles will become tight and we will start experiencing joint pains. When you have work where you have to give hours of sitting, your joints and muscles tighten up and results in stiffness and pain. Without stretching you give invitation to strains in your leg when you try to extend it. You don’t have to stretch every muscle you have, the areas critical for mobility are in your lower extremities. The only thing you have to do is whenever you get time, just stand and try to reach your feet with your hands without bending your knees. If you leg stretching then that is a big plus.
