The meaning of life is an endless question. But… what does life really mean? The answer isn’t complicated. But it isn’t simple either. It’s something that can be unique to every, single human being.
Life is a beautiful learning experience, and to a great extent, it is what we make of it. It is a package with its attendant high and low points. If the high points help us gain self-esteem and happiness, the low ones too help speed our journey to self-actualization by making us introspect. Nobody knows for sure whether there is life after death, or rebirth. So, if the only known truth is the one life in our possession, we should live it to the best.
Life, to me, is an amazing opportunity. We all play a part in our individual and collective evolution. We are given a body to house our souls and how we choose to use it is up to us.
All my life I have worked hard to succeed. I have challenged myself and fought to do better than my best. Why? I asked myself. Why stress so much when I’m only going to die in the end? Pessimistic, I know. Finally, I thought, maybe the meaning of life doesn’t have to be so complex. Maybe the meaning of life is whatever we want it to be. Maybe the meaning of life is to give life a meaning. I do what I do because I want to do it. It’s that simple. I do it because it means something to me.
Life is the beginning of ends to start again. Life is courage to let go and freedom to move on. Life is intending the future and living the moment. Life is the grounding and understanding of your purpose in the moment. Life is knowing your power and using it wisely. Life is knowing the longer I stay, the more trouble I have adjusting, but realizing it all begins at the end of my comfort zone. Life is the inexplicable moments and catching glimpses into the unknown.
Like the universe, You are beautiful, complex, harmonious, conflicting. You are a part of this universe and the universe is chaotic and constantly evolving. Dare to be. Believe in yourself, believe in others.
Life is full of moments of joy, pleasure, success and comfort punctuated by misery, defeat, failures and problems. There is no human being on Earth, strong, powerful, wise or rich, who has not experienced, struggle, suffering or failure. No doubt, life is beautiful and every moment – a celebration of being alive, but one should always be ready to face adversity and challenges. A person who has not encountered difficulties in life can never achieve success.
Thus, life is not just a bed of roses; thorns are also a part of it and should be accepted by us just as we accept the beautiful side of life.
